I love Perpignan – was there last Summer! I wish I was in Perpignan for Christmas – instead I’m stuck in the rain soaked north of England in Sunderland.
Although the video is about Perpignan, it reminded me about French Christmas in many ways.
There is something timeless about the feeling in most big cities in France during the peak December season. It is serene despite all of the modern glitter. Also, the singer contributed much to such moods. Quite, reflective, peaceful, romantic, utterly charming.
After all, may the true meaning of Christmas bring peace to the world and if only for a couple of days…
